When Gwen Stefani popped onto our screens on Saturday night as a special guest on X Factor, we were quickly reminded of how much we love her. Holding vocal master classes for the contestants, Gwens infectious personality was nearly as jaw dropping as her signature make-up style, which we have to point out, is really coming into its own. Never daring to sway away from her renowned red lip, perfectly pencilled brows, peroxide blonde hair and flawless milky skin, Gwens beauty personality is something of a genius master piece.

Timeless in its approach, Gwen has stumbled on an ageless look that she has worn ever since she started out as a young pop star and now as a stylish, mega successful business woman, wife and mother Gwen is still working the same, timeless beauty. The beauty of Gwen's make-up is obvious. It works for her and is, dare we say it, a brilliant approach to ageing. We're still in shock as we type (and reveal) that Gwen is 43. Nope, we can't quite beleive it either and that's why Gwen's make up is a anti-ageing triumph. Not only does it work with all of Gwen's wardrobe from the check trousers complete with braces circa 1996, to Saturday night's ensemble of a monochrome modern trouser suit and her on stage tartan number.

In a recent interview reported on DailyGossip, Gwen spoke out about her make-up style It was like Id unlocked the key. I remember feeling like, I have arrived. This is me. Finally and her signature red lip was first given to her by her Grandmother. It's rumoured the crimson pout is one of several MAC products including Ruby Woo lipstick and Lipmix in Crimson (a pro product).

So why does Gwen's beauty style work? Not only does a red lip keep teeth looking white, the perfect application works from whatever Gwen is wearing and after finding the shade to suit her, Gwen knows she can always rely on it. That platinum blonde hair is not only striking but after Gwen spent eight hours in a salon dyeing it blonde at the age of 25, it was love at first sight. Finally those face framing brows, would knock years off even the most aged face.
