Gwen Stefani never looks bad. Like, ever. Even if you peep her evolving style over the past few decades, she always managed to look on-trend yet totally timeless. Also, she doesn't age. Basically, she's an anomaly, and when we peeped the October cover of Elle UK with our Gwenie on the front, it reaffirmed everything we thought about hershe's still perfect. When she's not being a mom or fronting No Doubt music videos or doing her L.A.M.B. fashion line or designing children's clothes for Target *gasps for breath*, she's just one FIERCE lady. On the October cover of Elle UK, Gwen sports a cut-out blue and black floral peplum top (that TOTALLY reminds us of Prabal Gurung's fall 2012 collection) and tulle tutu covered in flowers. For her beauty game, she showed off a nude lip with kohl-rimmed eyes and a serious "don't-mess-with-me" stance. She pulled her half up and managed to make it look TOTALLY chic. (Why do we look like a 7th grader whenever we try to do this? Not faiiiirrr.) She wore a swipe o! f gold p olish on her nails, but otherwise Gwen kept the metallics to a minimum. I mean, with an outfit like that, we don't even mind. In the issue, Gwen dishes on trying to balance work life and being a mom, and even admits that she was "overwhelmed" by trying to do it all.
