No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani has insisted that she has no intention of making another solo record.

The California band are preparing to release 'Push And Shove', their first album together in over ten years. During their time away, Stefani recorded a pair of solo albums with high-profile producers like Dr Dre and The Neptunes.

Recalling the experience, she told The Sun: "It was fun to experiment and work with outside writers but it was intimidating. Walking into a session with somebody you think is a genius, and they're sitting there going, 'I work with everyone - what have you got?' And you're, like, 'Not much. I don't even know how I wrote a song.' It's such a vulnerable situation to put yourself in."

Continuing, Stefani explained that her solo phase is now out of her system, saying: "I never need to do that or want to do it again. I'm happy being in No Doubt. And it's nice to have a record where there's no fat on it."

Despite their absence from the release schedules in recent years, Stefani insisted that No Doubt never officially separated. She explained: "We never split up. We never fell out of went anywhere. People think there was a big hiatus but we were still working on stuff together. If not together then seeing each other for kids' events and birthday parties."

No Doubt release their sixth! studio album 'Push And Shove' on September 24. The album is being trailed by the single 'Settle Down' - scroll down to watch the video.
