No Doubt's "Settle Down" Video: Look By Look

Considering it's been more than a decade since No Doubt's last studio album, did you really think Gwen Stefani and the rest of the So Cal crew would come back quietly? NO. WAY. The band took a hiatus after 2001's Rock Steady, and now these guys are back for good with their new single "Settle Down." They dropped the explosive track upon the world yesterday, and we've had the summer anthem on repeat ever since. But this morning we've found a whole new reason to obsess, since they've just released the song's equally awesome video. Featuring the band as truck drivers heading to meet up after 10 years, it's a reunion, dance party and a fashion show, all crammed into one exhilarating 6-minute clip. If you know Gwen, you know that she's obsessed with Harajuku. So even with she's wearing something simple, like the sleeveless white blouse in the opening scenes, you can bet she'll accessorize with some serious bling. We're talking Ice Watches, gold and silver bangs, and even pom pom bracelets. Arm party, any! one?!

Next up, we get to sneak a peek at her rad black and white checkered nail art. These designs have been popping up everywhere from the Fashion Week runways to your neighborhood drugstore (thanks, Sally Hansen!) so if you haven't already, it's time to get your hands on nail art stickers ASAP. Gwen's bright cherry lips also play a major beauty role in the vid, and the color comes courtesy of LOral Paris Infallible Le Gloss (where she's also a spokesmodel).

Finally, the pants make an appearance! We had to watch the video at least five time to really get a good look at the red, orange, and black bejeweled trousers, but it was totally worth it. According to L.A.M.B, the concept behind the pants arose from a conversation between Gwen and design director Paula Bradley. Jumping off of the idea of going back to the No Doubt roots, the L.A.M.B. team crafted an old-meets-new kaleidoscope of vintage Indian fabric, mirrored pieces, and checkerboard print. Oh, and did we mention it comes complete with a back flap?

The vid is filled to the brim with No Doubt throwbacks like references to Japanese subcultures, '90s-inspired styl! e, and n onstop dance parties. And here's one more: Gwen's signature tank tops. She switches from the white collared shirt in the beginning into a sheer black tank for the clubby dance scenes. Sure, she might've left off the Bindi this time around, but the whole look just feels... right. Welcome back, No Doubt!
