Gwen Stefani struggled to juggle family life and the reformation of No Doubt
"I was exhausted by the time I got there, so it was a struggle trying to weigh and balance everything out with the kids. But it was that fight that made the record so great."
Gwen particularly found it hard touring as a solo star when she just had Kingston.
Gwen added: "I went round the world with Kingston on my own and that was really hard. I was nursing him for 14 months so I would nurse, go on stage and wake up through the night and on the bus, and it was just like, 'What am I doing?' It was so hard."
All of Gwen's bandmates are also now parents, and guitarist Tom Dumont has said their experiences helped shape their new album, 'Push and Shove'.
He said: "There's a lot of kids between us so we're pulled in many different directions but we're so proud of this record and we put a lot of time into it."
